Wilton Resources Inc. Announces Formation of Advisory Board to Further Its International Oil and Gas Exploration Strategy

Wilton Resources Inc. ("Wilton" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:WIL) is pleased to announce the formation of an advisory board (the "Advisory Board") consisting of two senior international oil and gas advisors, Dr. Chakib Khelil and Dr. Rilwanu Lukman. Messrs. Khelil and Lukman currently provide consulting services to Wilton relating to the identification and evaluation of specific international oil and gas opportunities. In their capacity as members of the Advisory Board, Messrs. Khelil and Lukman will now also provide input and advice to Wilton's management and board of directors (the "Board") on the development of Wilton's international oil and gas exploration strategy, and such other matters as are requested by management and the Board. Together the two members of the Advisory Board provide a comprehensive suite of knowledge and experience to guide Wilton's management and the Board in areas such as exploration, international business development and government relations. The Advisory Board shall operate strictly in an advisory capacity.

Dr. Chakib Khelil

Dr. Khelil held tenure at The World Bank where for 18 years he was an advisor on oil projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America. During the 1990's, Dr. Khelil was The World Bank's lead advisor in relation to oil. Following his role at The World Bank, Dr. Khelil was appointed as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Algeria. He held this position for 11 years.

Dr. Khelil held the title of President of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries ("OPEC") for two terms during his career; first in 2001 and for the second time in 2007. OPEC is an organization formed by representatives from 12 oil producing and exporting countries looking to stabilize international oil prices and provide a stable flow of petroleum to consuming countries for fair market value.

The foundation of Dr. Khelil's career began with his role as an Engineer for Shell Ltd. and for Philips Petroleum Ltd. He then became the President of the joint venture between Sonatrach and Coreb. From 1973 to 1976 he served as an advisor the President of Algeria.

Dr. Khelil holds a Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M, United States (1968). He is fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Dr. Rilwanu Lukman

Dr. Lukman held the title of President of OPEC for eight consecutive terms, beginning in 1986. Prior to this appointment, he held the position Secretary General of OPEC for two terms.

Other notable achievements include his role as an Honorary Advisor on Energy and Strategic Matters to the President of Nigeria, Nigerian Minister of Petroleum Resources, Special Adviser to the Nigerian President for Oil and Gas, Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Nigerian Minister of Mines.

Dr. Lukman holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy and a degree in Mineral Economics from McGill University, Canada. He also holds two Honorary Doctorate degrees from Moore House College, USA and University of Benin, Nigeria. He was made a Knight of the British Empire (KBE) in 1989 and Officer of the Legion d'Honeur of France in 1990, and was conferred with the First Class rank of the Order of the Liberator from the Republic of Venezuela.
