2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Is Significantly CheaperFord
  • The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E now starts at $38,490, putting it at $3500 less expensive than last year's entry price.

  • Despite the lower price, the Mach-E adds new technology, including a new standard heat pump to optimize power usage in colder climates.

  • The Mach-E also adds a new appearance package and the most recent version of Ford's Blue Cruise hands-free system.

A visual graph of the Ford Mustang Mach-E's pricing since the model debuted in 2021 would look akin to the path of a rollercoaster. There have been numerous ups and downs in the EV crossover's pricing since then, with Ford cutting prices significantly in May 2023 and again earlier this month. For the 2025 model year, the Mach-E is getting another price cut across the board—though some trims pare off more than others.

The new model year is expected to go on sale in early 2025 with the entry model carrying a new starting price of $38,490. The new figure marks a $3500 discount compared to the 2024 version. The Premium trim earns an even steeper discount and now starts at $41,990—$4000 cheaper than last year. Stepping up to the GT AWD Extended Range model brings the price up to $54,490 while the recently added Rally model starts at $57,990—down from $65,390 last year.

Despite the lower price, the Mach-E actually adds some new goodies. From a hardware perspective, 2025 models add a heat pump as standard equipment to optimize power in colder climates. There's also a new Sport appearance package that includes the front fascia, grille shield, and red Brembo front brake calipers, as well as the 19-inch gloss black wheels from the Mach-E GT for the less expensive Premium trim. The Sport appearance package also adds red accent stitching and sportier pedals for the interior.

Additionally, the 2025 Mach-E gains access to the newest version of Ford's BlueCruise hands-free system, BlueCruise 1.5, which now includes automated lane changing. All trim levels now come with a column-mounted shifter that replaces the previous center-mounted dial shifter, and Premium models add ventilated front seats as standard equipment.
