What to Watch Saturday: Hallmark Christmas movies return, plus new 48 HOURS report

Boyfriends of Christmas Past (8 p.m., Hallmark) - It’s Hallmark Christmas Movie season! In this one, marketing executive Lauren must learn to open her heart with the help of four ghosts of ex-boyfriends who visit her leading up to Christmas. She must learn to open her heart or risk losing her best friend, Nate. (There’s another movie at 10 p.m. — keep scrolling.)

Switched Before Birth (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new movie, a couple’s world is turned upside down when they discover that one of their two new babies conceived through in vitro fertilization is not a biological twin, but was implanted into Olivia by mistake.

Her Lyfeline (9 p.m., BET HER) - These 20-minute dramatic short films focus on topics vital to today’s Black women, take deep dives into the varied impact of domestic violence and breast cancer and their respective effects on them and their families. The films live under the BET HER “Her Stories” franchise

48 HOURS: The Station Nightclub Fire (10 p.m., CBS) - Jim Axelrod reports on the Feb. 20, 2003 fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island, which killed 100 people and left more than 200 injured. Now, for the first time on television, the club owners open up about the fire. The report explores what led up to the fire and the aftermath, and includes first-person accounts from survivors who thought they were out for a good time only to find their lives changed forever. Axelrod also reveals new information that may help explain what led to the disaster.

Christmas in My Heart (10 p.m., Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) - Violinist Beth returns home after the recent death of her mother and tutors the daughter of a reclusive country music star to prepare her for the upcoming holiday concert.

Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) - Former SNL castmember Jason Sudeikis (“Ted Lasso”) returns to host. Brandi Carlile performs.

Austin City Limits (12:30 a.m., PBS NC) - Grammy Award-winner Sarah Jarosz performs music from “World on the Ground” and Grammy Award-winner Billy Strings performs songs from “Renewal.”
