Want to make more than $100,000 and work from your Miami home? You have some options

COVID lock-downs are long over, but remote work looks like it’s here to stay in South Florida.

In 2023, 35% of Americans with jobs that can be done remotely worked entirely from home full time, according to Pew Research. And 41% of workers with jobs that can be done remotely worked a hybrid schedule, going into the office only sometimes. That means that 76% of all workers who can work remotely do so, at least some of the time.

Though Florida was quick to abandon COVID restrictions, remote work has planted roots in the state. Over 10% of all workers in Miami-Dade and 11% in Broward work from home, according to 2022 data from the Census Bureau.
