Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on AUQ, AUY, GG and NGD

Gold prices continued its slide Wednesday after Morgan Stanley provided another bearish forecast for gold prices in 2014. The average forecasts of seven big banks (Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Deutche Bank, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS) call for gold prices to average roughly $1,202 an ounce in 2014. “In our view, gold price performance will continue to suffer as long as risk assets in general and U.S. equities in particular continue to perform strongly, undermining the need for portfolio managers to hold more than a modicum of safe haven assets,” analysts at Morgan Stanley wrote in a recent note.

AuRico Gold Inc. (NYSE:AUQ - News)(TSX:AUQ.TO - News) shares traded in the range of $4.54 to $4.79 Wednesday before settling to close at $4.57, a decrease of 4.79 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $4.57 and $4.72 levels with some support at $4.42. Shares of AuRico Gold have fallen approximately 42.0 percent in the past year.

Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE:AUY - News)(TSX:YRI.TO - News) shares traded in the range of $9.50 to $9.68 Wednesday before settling to close at $9.55, a decrease of 2.75 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $9.82 and $10.26 levels with some support at $9.53. Shares of Yamana Gold have fallen approximately 45.0 percent in the past year.
