Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on AA, ABBV, KMB and MCD

U.S. markets rose on the last day of the first quarter. All but the energy sector posted gains in the S&P 500 Index, with the biotechnology sector leading the way. The S&P 500 Index gained 0.79 percent, up 1.3 percent in the first quarter of 2014, while the Nasdaq gained 1.04 percent, up 0.54 percent in the first quarter. "We're starting the second quarter pretty much where we started the first quarter—not much changed and still concerns about whether we'll see the arrival of better growth," said Kate Warne, investment strategist at Edward Jones. Here is how some S&P 500 companies reacted Monday:

Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA - News) shares traded in the range of $12.51 to $12.97 (a new 52-week high) Monday before settling to close at $12.87, an increase of 3.13 percent. The stock appears to have some support at the $12.47, $12.18 and $11.74 levels. Shares of Alcoa have gained approximately 21.0 percent year-to-date.

AbbVie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV - News) shares traded in the range of $50.95 to $51.70 Monday before settling to close at $51.40, an increase of 0.82 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $51.64 and $52.20 levels with some support at $51.16 and $50.55. Shares of AbbVie are down approximately 3.0 percent year-to-date.

Kimberly Clark Corp. (NYSE:KMB - News) shares traded in the range of $109.58 to $110.47 Monday before settling to close at $110.25, an increase of 0.39 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $111.54 and $113.44 levels with some support at $109.62 and $107.60. Shares of Kimberly Clark are up approximately 5.0 percent year-to-date.

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD - News) shares traded in the range of $97.30 to $98.45 Monday before settling to close at $98.03, an increase of 0.81 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $98.18 and $98.91 levels with some support at $97.05 and $96.83. Shares of McDonald's are up approximately 1.0 percent year-to-date.
