Ugandan shilling slips as banks cover short dollar positions
KAMPALA (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling weakened modestly on Tuesday as commercial banks sought dollars to cover short positions in the U.S. currency. At 0754 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,385/3,395, slightly weaker than Monday's close of 3,375/3,385. (Reporting by Elias Biryabarema; Editing by Edmund Blair)
