Uber testing fleet of driverless cars in Pittsburgh

Uber’s self-driving cars to hit Pittsburgh
Uber is getting ready to debut its fleet of self-driving cars. The launch will take place later this month in Pittsburgh, according to a report in Bloomberg. Each car will have a supervised driver. Will anyone be okay jumping into a self-driving Uber?

Fears of fraud

Not all retailers have credit card machines that can read chipped credit cards. Unfortunately, retailers that don’t have readers for chip cards are now on the hook for fraudulent transactions. Some investors worry that companies might have to pay high fraud costs, but new research suggests this fear may be overblown. What does this research show?

Nike beats Under Armour to finish line
Nike just pulled an Olympics coup with the unwitting help of Under Armour-sponsored Michael Phelps. The five-time gold winner in the 2016 Olympics will be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated wearing Nike apparel. And it’s because of a deal Nike made with the US Olympic Committee over 10 years ago. The Associated Press estimates the deal is worth $12 million to $15 million for every four years.
