SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Turning Point Therapeutics Inc. (TPTX) on Monday reported a loss of $47.4 million in its fourth quarter.

The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of $1.02 per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 94 cents per share.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $157.3 million, or $3.85 per share. Revenue was reported as $25 million.

Turning Point Therapeutics shares have fallen 0.5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $121.22, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
