A box truck driver lost control, rolled over on Sawgrass Expressway ramp, troopers say

A box truck driver lost control and rolled over while trying to turn on the curve of a Sawgrass Expressway exit ramp in Broward County early Wednesday, troopers said.

The truck’s driver was rescued from the cab and taken to Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The rollover happened on the Sawgrass southbound exit ramp to State Road 7, according to FHP. The southbound entrance and exit ramp (Exit 18 area) were blocked for at least an hour during the early morning rush hour.
