What’s new? New Tri-Cities Panda opens + $40M retirement complex welcomes residents

Here are the latest business openings in the Tri-Cities.

Panda Express Richland

The newest Panda Express Chinese Kitchen holds grand opening festivities, including a ribbon cutting, at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2, at 924 George Washington Way, Richland.

It is the sixth Panda Express location in the Tri-Cities and the second to open in recent months. It now operates two Pasco restaurants, two Kennewick ones and two in Richland. Go to pandaexpress.com/location.

The 2,600-square-foot restaurant new restaurant was built on the site where Red Robin Gourmet Burgers restaurant and later a buffet once stood. It was demolished in early 2023.

Riverwalk Estates Senior Living

Riverwalk Estates, a 55+ senior living community, has opened at 4704 W. Hildebrand Blvd., near Canyon Lakes in Kennewick, after passing its final building inspection July 19.

Construction of the four-story, $40 million project began in July 2022 on an eight-acre site near the Zintel Canyon dam.

The facility offers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, with kitchenettes and a variety of community amenities, including a library, movie theater, community room, TV room, chapel, fitness center and beauty/barber salons.

Riverwalk was built by Salem, Ore.’s Hawthorn Senior Living, a holding of Seattle-based Columbia Pacific Advisors. The project team consisted of Lenity Architecture and Hawthorn Construction Group LLC.

Prime Hydration opens

Prime IV Hydration & Wellness opened in July at 1360 N. Louisiana St., Suite B, near Columbia Center in Kennewick.

The Tri-Cities business is owned by Carrie and Dan Sullivan and provides IVs with vitamin and mineral enhanced water to improve hydration, boosting health and wellness.

Clients receive customized treatments while seated in state-of-the-art massage chairs.
