Trevor Duke-Moretz & Louise Keshaviah Join Navigation Media Group To Lead New Talent Department

EXCLUSIVE: Navigation Media Group, the management and production company founded in 2022 by James Engle & Ben C. Silverman, is expanding into talent management, with veteran manager-producers Trevor Duke-Moretz and Louise Keshaviah to spearhead a new talent division, as the company continues to broaden its services to include comprehensive representation for actors, writers, directors and IP.

Duke-Moretz and Keshaviah will work in concert with the literary department to provide opportunities for clients that extend beyond traditional talent management and into producing, writing, directing, publishing, podcasting and digital, covering the full spectrum of opportunities available in today’s media landscape.

Duke-Moretz joins following a 13-year run as an independent talent manager and producer in both film and television. Most recently, he worked alongside Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho on the post-apocalyptic sci-fi pic Mother/Android, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, which marked the feature directorial debut of Mattson Tomlin. Lately, he’s wrapped the miniseries podcast adaptation Gaslight, produced alongside Automatik Entertainment, as well as the Snapchat unscripted series Coming Out. Duke-Moretz got his start by working on Lionsgate’s break-out hit, Kick-Ass, starring Moretz and Nicolas Cage, which led to the opportunity to exec produce Kick-Ass 2. He followed that up by working on the 2018 Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, as well as the YA breakout If I Stay for MGM and Warner Bros.

Keshaviah began her career as a talent agent at Gersh before transitioning into management in 2021. Known for her commitment to her clients, her strategic approach to talent representation, and her ability to identify and nurture promising talent, she’s over the years represented the leads of series for Netflix, ABC, NBC, Hulu and Amazon, among others, as well as clients in studio and independent features.

In a statement to Deadline on his new role, Duke-Moretz said, “After years of managing and producing independently, coming on board Navigation has been a wonderfully seamless experience. Getting to start the talent department here has been a thrill and I look forward to building the business alongside James and Ben.”

Stated Keshaviah, “Joining Navigation Media Group is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization that truly values collaboration and innovation. I am eager to contribute to the growth and success of our clients and the company.”

Added Engle and Silverman, “Trevor and Louise both exemplify the team oriented and innovative approach to representation we embrace. Their positive impact will be immediately felt by our clients and throughout Navigation. It’s an honor to welcome them to the team!”

News of the duo’s appointment comes following word back in May that Alex Creasia had joined Navigation as Lit Manager, after a little over three years at Sugar23.
