Tree Island Steel Announces First Quarter 2016 Financial Results and Conference Call Notification

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 26, 2016) - Tree Island Steel Ltd. ("Tree Island" or the "Company") (TSL.TO) is pleased to announce that it will report its first quarter 2016 financial results for the period ended March 31, 2016, during market hours on May 5, 2016.

The Company will hold its Annual General Meeting on the same day at 12:30 pm PT (3:30 pm ET) at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Following the Annual General Meeting, the Company will host an analyst call on the same day at 2:00 pm PT (5:00 pm ET). Dale MacLean, President and CEO, and Nancy Davies, CFO, will discuss the Company's financial performance for the period ended March 31, 2016.
