According to media reports, by 2018, it won’t be uncommon for electric vehicles (EVs) to have driving ranges of 200 miles or more per charge. If driving a car that is eco-friendly is important to you, here’s a list of the 10 most fuel-efficient 2016 and 2017 EVs with the best driving ranges* to consider. They include small and compact cars and an MPV. If price is a concern, rest assured that, for the timebeing, a higher vehicle price still can be offset by federal tax credits and state incentives (from $2,500-$7,500).
