Etsy (ETSY) is tanking after reporting a loss in the first quarter.  The online craft market place posted earnings loss of $.84 a share.  Revenue came in just slightly above estimates.  The company said the strong dollar could continue to slow sales from overseas in the coming quarters.

CABLEVISION AND TIME WARNER CABLE

Both Cablevision (CVC) and Time Warner Cable (TWC) are gaining on news that French holding company Altice is buying U.S. cable group Suddenlink for $9.1 billion.  Reuters reports this hasn't dampened the French media group's interest in Time Warner Cable.
