In With The New: Are These Three The Next Top Gear Presenters?

The era of Clarkson, May, and Hammond is over. But the BBC is wasting no time in the search to find replacements for the lads, and we now have news about exactly who might be tapped for the spots.

So in other words, Top Gear is dead—long live Top Gear.

Details come from The Telegraph, which is reporting that ex-model Jodie Kidd, motorcycle racer Guy Martin and actor Philip Glenister will step in to helm the venerable BBC program's next iteration. While the prospective presenters might be unknown to American audiences, all are familiar faces to viewers across the pond, and most importantly, each comes with requisite petrolhead cred.

Kidd is currently host of Classic Cars Show—which appears on the Viacom-owned Channel Five—and performed admirably during her Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment, where she tied for seventh place. Martin found fame competing in road race events like the excruciatingly dangerous Isle of Man, and along with his role on the popular UK series Life on Mars.

Glenister appeared on For The Love Of Cars, which documented restorations of iconic British iron.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, this sounds like a stellar lineup for the rebooted version of Top Gear. Stay tuned for updates when we know more.
