Swedish court of appeal sends Tesla license plate case back to lower court

COPENHAGEN, Dec 13 (Reuters) - A Swedish court of appeal said on Wednesday it had overturned a legal ruling that allowed Tesla to collect license plates directly from the manufacturer, and sent the case back to a lower court for renewed examination.

The U.S. car maker has sought the court's permission to collect the license plates from the producer in order to circumvent Swedish postal workers who have blocked the delivery in sympathy with striking Tesla mechanics. (Reporting by Louise Breusch Rasmussen, editing by Terje Solsvik)
