Stocks in play: WPT Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust

Announced the mailing of its management information circular and related materials for the special meeting of the REIT’s unitholders to consider the previously announced plan of arrangement pursuant to which an affiliate of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. would acquire all of the outstanding trust units of the REIT through a series of transactions that would result in Unitholders receiving $22.00 U.S. per Unit in cash, subject to applicable withholdings, all as more particularly described in the Circular. WPT Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust shares T.WIR.UN are trading down $0.13 at $27.34.
