Stocks in play: Great Bear Resources Ltd.

Has entered into a definitive agreement with Kinross Gold Corporation to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Great Bear through a plan of arrangement. Under the terms of the Transaction, Kinross has agreed to an upfront payment of approximately $1.8 billion, representing $29.00 per Great Bear common share on a fully-diluted basis. Great Bear Resources Ltd. shares V.GBR are trading up $5.62 at $28.55.
