Stocks in play: Amex Exploration Inc.

Reported the results of several drill holes on its Perron property in northwestern Quebec. The drill results include intersections from the Grey Cat Zone (GCZ) and Gratien Gold Zone (GGZ). At Grey Cat, the Company has identified near-surface gold over substantial widths, including up to 2.19 g/t Au over 23.60 m, including 15.45 g/t Au over 1.50 metres and 33.19 g/t Au over 0.60 metre, beginning at 20 metres below surface in hole PEG-19-125. This interval contained several zones of quartz veining and associated mineralization including visible gold, spread throughout the 23.60 m zone. The interval also expanded the near-surface strike length by 50 m. The Grey Cat Zone gold system is now defined to a minimum of 160 m along strike and to a vertical depth 435 m and remains open in all directions Amex Exploration Inc. shares V.AMX are trading up $0.04 at $1.45.
