South Africa's petrol pump price to increase by 4 percent in June

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - The retail price of petrol in South Africa will increase by 4 percent from June 1, while the price of wholesale diesel will go up by 7 percent, the energy department said on Monday. The price of petrol will rise by 52 cents to 13.26 rand per litre in the commercial hub of Gauteng province, while diesel will go up by 76 cents to 11.29 rand per litre, the department said in a statement.
