Yahoo Finance Scrubs star Zach Braff shares sweet tribute to Black Widow's Florence Pugh
Zach Braff has shared a sweet tribute to his partner Florence Pugh on her birthday.
The Black Widow actress turned 26 on January 3, and the Scrubs star posted a picture on his Instagram for the occasion.
The snap showed Florence resting her head on the edge of a swimming pool with her hair pulled back.
"Happy birthday to this beautiful human being," he wrote in the post.
"I am so lucky to know you. And the world is so lucky they get to witness your incredible talent."
He posted another picture of her sitting cross-legged by a window with their dog.
The Scrubs star met Pugh in 2018 when he directed her in the short film In The Time It Takes To Get There.
Their relationship has gotten some backlash from fans over their 21-year age gap.
But the Midsommar actress has previously fired back at critics for their comments.
"I'm old enough to be an adult and pay taxes, but I'm not old enough to know who I should and should not have sex with?" she said.
"Yet again, once again making a young woman feel like shit for no reason. I think I did feel shit for a while... and then I thought how ridiculous is that? I'm 24 and I can't choose who I love? There's a reason why I'm not with someone my age – it hasn't worked."
She also explained why she feels so many people have an issue with who she is dating.
"I think it bugs people that it's not who they expected," she said.
"But it's my life and I'm not doing anything to please people or to make it a better headline or story. I want to also be a person!"
