You can save 50% on your first year of streaming with CBS All Access—here's how

The market for streaming services is certainly crowded these days, but one option in particular is in the spotlight right now with a deal that's simply too good to pass up. CBS All Access, which will soon become Paramount+, is 50% off for new customers who sign up for the service's All Access annual plans before Thursday, March 4. Better yet, you'll get to try it out first for a week free of charge!

To get the deal, you'll want to choose between a limited commercial plan ($59.99 per year) or one that's commercial-free ($99.99 per year), then click the box beneath the pricing that says "Save over 15% off the monthly price with an annual plan." Note that your promotional code will not work at checkout without marking this box off.

From there, new customers can use coupon code PARAMOUNTPLUS at checkout to saving 50%, whittling your annual costs down to $30 and $50, respectively. That shakes out to roughly $2.50 to $4.16 per month, which is a huge savings from the current monthly rates of $5.99 to $9.99 per month for ad-supported or ad-free viewing.

You'll start with a free seven-day trial prior to payment, giving you access to a large collection of both new and classic CBS shows, such as Criminal Minds, NCIS, The Good Fight and tons of Star Trek content.

Your plan will automatically switch to Paramount+ on March 4, however, so not only will you be able to stream content from the vast libraries of CBS, you'll have Viacom and Paramount film studio content, too.

While we noted that CBS’ standalone service was a bit limited outside the CBS library (as well as lacking in 4K content), the acquisition of Paramount and Viacom properties should surely to help sweeten the pot and help this service to become a fierce competitor in the streaming market. Secure an insanely low price to enjoy a seamless—and affordable!—transition ahead of the switch-over.
