Samsung’s $149 Galaxy Tab 3 appears in new benchmarks

Benchmark results allegedly belonging to Samsung’s (005930) upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 tablet have appeared on GLBenchmark’s website and may have confirmed previously rumored specs. The results suggest that the tablet will be equipped with a 1280 x 800-pixel display, Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and a 1.5GHz processor with an unknown number of cores. Earlier reports have claimed that the Galaxy Tab 3 could debut with a price tag starting at $149. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Tab 3 along with several other devices later this month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
