Roy Keane launched a withering attack on Arsenal after they needed a 97th-minute equaliser to salvage a 1-1 draw at home against Fulham on Sunday.

Eddie Nketiah rescued a point at the end of the poor game at Emirates Stadium and Keane described the Arsenal display as “shocking, dreadful, no quality and they got lucky”.

Keane added: “God help Arsenal going forward.”

Working as a pundit for Sky Sports, the former Manchester United captan pulled no punches in his assessment of their performance.

Keane said: “Arsenal were dreadful. I can’t believe how bad Arsenal were. But they probably just about deserved it.

“I don’t know if Fulham deserved too much more than that. I thought they were poor. I know they’re fighting for their lives but the lack of quality from both teams was dreadful.

"Arsenal were even worse. God help Arsenal going forward. I thought they were shocking, dreadful, no quality, and they got a bit lucky in the end.

“Arsenal. . . my goodness.”
