Kevin Hart sure does keep himself busy. He continues to be one of the top stand-up comedians in the world and continuously stars in hit movies. On Aug. 26th, Hart’s newest movie “Me Time” with Mark Wahlberg and Regina Hall debuts on Netflix. He’s also appears in several other films this year, including the popular animated movie, “DC League of Super Pets.” With all his successes, it’s no wonder he’s worth millions.

Net Worth: $450 Million

In addition to sold-out stand-up tours where tickets typically start at $132 per ticket, he’s making millions from movies and then there are his televised comedy specials through a deal with Netflix, business endeavors and endorsement deals that bring in even more big bucks.  It comes as no surprise that his net worth is $450 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

From Stand-Up to Movie Star

Hart is the first to admit that his stand-up comedy career got off to a rocky start. His tickets were definitely not the hot commodity they are today. In interviews, Hart has mentioned that he’s been booed during his act, and noted one incident in which an audience member threw a half-eaten chicken wing at him. Hart pushed through these rough times by entering and winning comedy contests.

Hart’s first real brush with Hollywood fame happened when he was cast by producer Judd Apatow to appear in the television series “Undeclared” that aired from 2002-2003. It was this role that officially introduced him to the entertainment industry and his future career as an actor. Hart was subsequently cast in the films “Scary Movie 3,” “Soul Plane” and “In the Mix” in the early 2000s. Subsequent Kevin Hart films include smash hits like “Think Like a Man,” “Ride Along,” “Ride Along 2,” “The Secret Life of Pets,”  “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Night School” “The Upside, and “Jumanji: The Next Level.”  To date, Hart has appeared in more than 55 films and dozens of television shows.

Kevin has embarked on several profitable comedy tours. His “What Now?” tour had 168 shows around the world between 2015 and 2016. His “Irresponsible Tour” consisted of 119 shows between 2017 and 2019. Hart can earn upwards of $70 million from touring alone.

Other Endeavors

Hart is also the co-creator and star of the hit “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” which parodies the reality TV genre, chronicling the daily lives of himself and other Hollywood celebrities. Entertainment Weekly gave the show the No. 1 slot on its Top 10 Things We Love This Week list, writing, “Step aside, Housewives! Our new favorite divas are the men who take the spotlight in star/executive producer Kevin Hart’s uproariously funny reality TV spoof.”

Hart also dabbled into the music scene, releasing the hip-hop album “What Now?” in 2016, which was received with lukewarm reviews from critics and spent one week on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

He premiered an underwear line with Tommy John in 2017. Hart also launched a streaming service called Laugh Out Loud, which debuted in August 2018. It has garnered hundreds of millions of views to date.

In 2009, Kevin launched HartBeat Productions, a company that employs more than 40 people to manage Kevin’s movie, television, comedy and radio productions. Hart also has endorsement deals and/or partnerships with brands including Mountain Dew, AT&T, Samsung and Wrangler.

Family and Personal Life

Kevin Hart was married to Torrei Hart for eight years and had two children, Hendrix Hart and Heaven Hart. They divorced in 2011. After his divorce, Hart began dating aspiring model and actress Eniko Parrish. After five years of dating, Hart and Parrish married in Santa Barbara, California, in 2016.  They have two children together, Kenzo Kash and Kaori May.

Real Estate

In 2012, Hart spent $1.99 million on a house in Tarzana, California, but he sold this home for $2.75 million in mid-2019. Today, his primary residence is a large mansion within a gated community in Calabasas, California. He originally bought the 26-acre plot of undeveloped land in 2015 for $1.35 million, and he gained approval to start construction in April 2017, spending another $5 million on an absolutely stunning compound. The primary house on the property is 9,600 square feet.

Hobbies

Hart has a love of cars. He owns at least 12 vehicles including a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Edition, Ferrari 488 GTB Spider, Pontiac GTO, GMC Yukon XL Denali, Aston Martin Vanquish and Maserati GranTurismo Convertible, to list just a few. His love of cars was recently turned into a new series from MotoTrend called “Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew.”

As for what’s next for Hart, it’s anyone’s guess, but if past is any precedent, fans won’t have to wait long to find out before this prolific actor and comedian makes another move.
