The Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Member of Parliament for Gaspésie–Les Îles‑de‑la‑Madeleine and Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will announce Government of Canada financial assistance for 16 businesses and organizations in the tourism sector in Gaspésie and Les Îles‑de‑la‑Madeleine.
In Gaspésie, 13 projects are receiving support from CED: Folies Boréales, Domaine Signature, Riôtel Percé, [ÈST] éco-cabines, Riôtel Bonaventure (Le Château Blanc de Bonaventure), Hôtel Motel Belle Plage Carleton, Hostellerie Baie Bleue, Camping au soleil couchant, Hôtel Interprovincial (Restaurant Pastali), Motel Fraser, Les Chalets de la Mer (Mécanique Guy Caissy), Société de restauration et de gestion de la Nouvelle and Café Acadien Bonaventure.
CED is also supporting three businesses in Les Îles de-la-Madeleine: Le Petit hôtel de la Montagne, L'Auberge La Salicorne (Auberge-Escapades) and La Maison du Potier.
The announcement of these financial contributions will be made on behalf of the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED.
