/R E P E A T -- Media advisory - Minister Guilbeault to make an announcement on the restoration and protection of the Bay of Quinte and the Great Lakes/

BELLEVILLE, ON, Sept. 27, 2023 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will make an announcement to continue the important work underway of restoring water quality and the health of ecosystems in the Bay of Quinte and the Great Lakes.

The Minister will be joined by Vance Badawey, Member of Parliament for Niagara Centre; Neil Ellis, Mayor of the City of Belleville; Mark Fisher, President and Chief Executive Officer, Council of the Great Lakes Region, a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte; Chris Malette, Executive Board Chair of Quinte Conservation; and Anne Anderson, Manager of Community Outreach and Special Projects, Lower Trent Conservation Authority.

Following the announcement, Minister Guilbeault will hold a media availability.
