Priyanka Chopra Jonas always delivers on the red carpet, bringing her trademark sex appeal and plenty of sartorial drama to every occasion, and this was definitely the case for her ensemble at this weekend's Billboard Music Awards, which saw the actress work the red carpet in a revealing embellished gown.
The design in question was a low-cut nude dress by Dolce & Gabbana with a high slit on the leg, covered in glistening embellishments. Although it was custom-made by the house for the occasion, it was actually inspired by a gown that originally came down the Dolce & Gabbana catwalk back in 2007.
According to Law Roach, the celebrity stylist behind Chopra Jonas' striking look, the dress featured a custom version of "probably the most iconic belt ever made" – a metallic corset waist design, which was worn on another glistening gown from Dolce's autumn/winter 2007 collection.
The actress finished off her red-carpet look with some Bulgari jewellery, including some dramatic chandelier earrings.
Chopra Jonas was at the award show to support her husband Nick Jonas, who she lovingly posed with on the red carpet. The singer was also out to make a sartorial statement, wearing a bright green jacket, trousers and silk shirt, the first of a number of looks he wore during the evening as he opened the award show and presented on stage.
