- U.S. asset management giant Vanguard Group said on Thursday Tim Buckley would retire as CEO and chairman by the end of the year after more than three decades at the company, including over six years as CEO.

- WeWork’s official junior creditors committee is seeking court approval to sue SoftBank, the co-working space provider’s biggest equity holder, alleging the Japanese conglomerate used WeWork’s prebankruptcy debt restructuring deal to improve its position in the company’s capital structure.

- Meta Platforms said it will stop paying Australian news publishers for content that appears on Facebook, setting up a fresh battle with Canberra which had led the world with a law that forces internet giants to strike licencing deals.
