** Two Vancouver-based technology firms Hootsuite and Dapper Labs are laying off 22% and 5% of their employees on Wednesday. Both cited macroeconomic concerns as a pressure point that led to the cuts.

** The federal government announced on Wednesday that Chinese state-owned Sinomine Rare Metals Resources Co, Chengze Lithium International, and Zangge Mining Investment Co must sell their stakes in Power Metals Corp, Lithium Chile Inc , and Ultra Lithium Inc respectively.
