** Rexall pharmacy's American owner is shopping the pharmacy chain to prospective buyers, according to sources, as McKesson Corp reconsiders its Canadian footprint after a 15-year expansion.

** Thornhill Research Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Defence Logistics Agency Troop Support, which manages the medical supply chain for the U.S. military. Thornhill will provide up to $356 million of its portable, lightweight MADM anesthetic systems and MOVES SLC life-support-system equipment.
