Pogue’s Basics: Turn on your Fitbit’s All-Day Sync feature

I love my Fitbit, man. Who doesn’t?

What I don’t love, though, is how long it takes to sync up with my phone! I want to see my stats, man!

Turns out there’s a setting deep within the app called All-Day Sync.

It does two great things.

First, it syncs with your Fitbit automatically once an hour.

Second, it changes the time zone on your Fitbit automatically, without your having to open the Fitbit app. And it barely has any hit on your Fitbit battery, despite what you’d think.

So go into the Fitbit app, hit Account, hit your Fitbit’s name, and turn on All-Day Sync.

And enjoy the much, much faster syncing.

At least I sync so!
