Potential Perimeter Solutions, SA (NYSE:PRM) shareholders may wish to note that the Independent Director, Jorge Valladares, recently bought US$300k worth of stock, paying US$7.15 for each share. That's a very decent purchase to our minds and it grew their holding by a solid 17%.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Perimeter Solutions

In fact, the recent purchase by Jorge Valladares was the biggest purchase of Perimeter Solutions shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (US$7.98), we still think insider buying is a positive. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.

Insider Ownership Of Perimeter Solutions

I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. It appears that Perimeter Solutions insiders own 5.7% of the company, worth about US$65m. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.

So What Does This Data Suggest About Perimeter Solutions Insiders?

It is good to see the recent insider purchase. And the longer term insider transactions also give us confidence. But on the other hand, the company made a loss during the last year, which makes us a little cautious. Insiders likely see value in Perimeter Solutions shares, given these transactions (along with notable insider ownership of the company). If you are like me, you may want to think about whether this company will grow or shrink. Luckily, you can check this free report showing analyst forecasts for its future.
