YOUR MAMA’S NOTES: A quirky but deluxe, Dutch-influenced compound perched high above Beverly Hills has been sold by Hollywood heavyweights Paula Wagner and Rick Nicita for $10.825 million. Property records show the couple purchased the nearly one acre, multi-structure spread in two separate transactions — the first in 1990 and the second in 1994 for a total of $2.845 million — and they first put the walled and gated spread on the open market in mid-February (2015) with a $12.5 million pricetag.

The remodeled four-bedroom main house has multiple fireplaces, including in the formal living and dining rooms, along with a den, family room, paneled library, and kitchen. A two-story guesthouse with a modern-minded interior has a double-height living room with an adjoining dining room, a full kitchen, two more bedrooms, and a professionally equipped gym while a third structure contains a 35mm screening room with tiled fireplace and a self-contained guest or staff apartment. All three buildings have balustraded loggias and balconies that overlook and give way to a lushly planted central garden with plush lawns, towering trees, a koi pond and a flagstone terrace alongside a free-form swimming pool and spa.

Miz Wagner, a former actress, talent agent and studio executive who’s successfully produced a number of Broadway shows, is perhaps best known as Tom Cruise’s producing partner, and Mister Nicita, once a managing partner at CAA where he helped steer Cruise’s career, now heads up his own management and production company, RPMedia, with a high-powered roster of clients who include Al Pacino, Sally Field, Anthony Hopkins and Mel Gibson.

The couple’s property portfolio also includes a 2,241-square-foot condo in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood that they picked up over the summer of 2008 for $4.5 million.
