The DSU-33 sensor has been an integral part of the arsenal of the U.S. and allied forces for more than a decade and Orbital ATK has delivered more than 155,000 sensors to the U.S. Air Force, Navy and allied nations since 1999. Moreover, it has begun the production of the Hard Target Void Sensing Fuze for the Air Force and is working on the development of a next-generation all-purpose bomb fuze.

Per the deal, the company will manufacture a variety of small-caliber ammunition, comprising .50 mm, 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm caliber ammunition, for the U.S. government at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO.

The company has been awarded the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) contracts for ensuring commercial cargo delivery and disposal services to and from the International Space Station during the 2019–2024 time frame.
