Olly Murs returned to the stage this weekend, where he paid tribute to his late friend Caroline Flack.
In a video shared on Instagram yesterday (July 31), the 'Dance with Me Tonight' singer-songwriter could be seen belting out a rendition of Neil Diamond's classic track 'Sweet Caroline' along with a huge crowd.
"For you caz! @newmarket_racecourses 2021 what a crowd!" his caption read. "Was great to be back on stage again! Loved it and loved you all for coming!"
This beautiful gesture was enjoyed by his social media fanbase, with two responding in the comment section: "She would [have] loved that soo much" and "oh my heart, she would appreciate this more than anything."
"Oh Olls!!!! This is amazing!!!!! Caroline would love this so much!!! Xxxxx," wrote another person, before a fourth added: "This was amazing. She would be so so proud. Hope your knee gets better quickly :-( well done for getting through tonight x."
Love Island and The X Factor presenter Flack was found dead in her home last year, with the coroner's inquest eventually recording a verdict of suicide.
