Back in May, the beauty rumor mill was sent spinning when everything was deleted from the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account — except for a photo of Kylie Jenner dressed in all pink with the cryptic caption "something is coming."
Fans of Jenner's brand immediately thought the worst when they also discovered that every Kylie Cosmetics product had been put on deep discounted at Ulta. But in reality, Jenner was just generating buzz for the next era of her brand after Coty Inc. acquired 51% of Jenner's beauty brands in 2020.
Following the mysterious Instagram post, Jenner announced that she would be relaunching with new packaging and revamped vegan, cruelty-free formulas with "clean" ingredients. After going on hiatus for two months, the day has come. And the new collection is available to shop on the new Kylie Cosmetics website, which now also houses Kylie Skin.
"I'm so proud to relaunch Kylie Cosmetics with all new formulas that are clean and vegan," Kylie Jenner said in a statement. "Innovation has come far in the past few years. When creating this line, it was so important to me to commit to using clean ingredients across the board, but to never sacrifice performance. My new lip kit has eight hour wear and is so comfortable on the lips, and all my new formulas are amazing. I'm excited for everyone to try the new products."
According to the brand, the updated formulas don't contain "animal oils, parabens, or gluten, along with a long list of over 1,600 other potentially harmful and irritating ingredients."
Whether you're a diehard fan of Jenner's Lip Kits and want to get your hands on the revamped long-wear formulas or want to give the products a try now that they're vegan and cruelty-free, you can shop the new collection at kyliecosmetics.com.
