Yahoo Finance Naomi Osaka Shares the First Photo of Her Baby Daughter
Naomi Osaka’s baby daughter is here—and she’s already a tennis fan.
The four-time Grand Slam singles champion shared the first photo of her little one today on Instagram. Though she didn’t show the newborn’s face, she did snap her adorable onesie: a white piece with little tennis balls and rackets in green and pink. Baby was also covered in a white blanket with pink frilly details to match the onesie.
“Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕,” Osaka joked in the caption.
Osaka also included a selfie from the hospital room on the day she gave birth, an artful photo of herself during her pregnancy, and a photo of a sweet picnic she had in her home in celebration of her daughter’s birth. The picnic snap shows a white blanket laid out on the grass, covered in rose petals and lined with plates of snacks. Around it are pink and purple balloons, and well as large shiny pink balloons spelling out MOM.
People reported yesterday that Osaka gave birth in Los Angeles, and that she and the baby “are doing well.” It's the tennis pro’s first child with boyfriend Cordae.
The athlete and the rapper—who have been dating since 2019—announced they were expecting via Instagram in January. Osaka shared a photo of an ultrasound of her baby and included a touching note about the happy news: “Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023.”
