MSA Safety (MSA) Q4 Earnings and Revenues Beat Estimates

MSA Safety (MSA) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.80 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.62 per share. This compares to earnings of $1.67 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 11.11%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this maker of safety products would post earnings of $1.24 per share when it actually produced earnings of $1.45, delivering a surprise of 16.94%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times.

MSA Safety , which belongs to the Zacks Security and Safety Services industry, posted revenues of $443.25 million for the quarter ended December 2022, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.53%.
