Recently, the Outlook magazine created a stir with the cover page of its latest edition, which stated that the Modi govt was missing amid the second COVID wave. Here is what Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has to say about it.

Moitra also commented on the instance when BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda in a letter to Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi lashed out at her party. Nadda said that in the fight against the pandemic the conduct of topmost Congress leaders, including their former President Rahul Gandhi will be remembered for its "duplicity and pettiness".
JP Nadda writes to Sonia Gandhi, urging to not weaken country’s fight against Covid
Why doesn’t he just write to PM urging to strengthen fight against Covid? #GiveItUpGuys— Mahua Moitra (@MahuaMoitra) May 11, 2021
Meanwhile union minister Smriti Irani sought corporation among the political parties.

In a disturbing turn of events, the Palestinians and Israeli police in the contested city of Jerusalem have escalated into a broader conflict, with Israel striking targets in Gaza in response to rockets launched by Palestinian militants.
Author Meena Kandasamy and activists Jameela Jamil and Malala Yousafzai expressed their grief on this issue.
83 Palestinians dead. High rises razed to the ground. Gaza is now an open air prison facing relentless Israeli air strikes. I'm in India, where Covid is killing tens of thousands, but my heart breaks 💔 for Palestine 🇵🇸 https://t.co/HKVp0vEnx9

Man this is all so horrifying. So many lives lost so needlessly. So much generational trauma caused. Over what? Corruption? Greed? Power? Hate? So many children inheriting these traumas they did not consent to. None of them hate one another. None of them want this violence. https://t.co/bTQ9m8Dhkt

A Palestinian child should be sitting in a classroom, not in rubble.
World leaders must act immediately to protect the human rights of Palestinians. pic.twitter.com/6BLQq58D4H— Malala (@Malala) May 12, 2021
In another incident, a team of Delhi Police Crime Branch questioned the national president of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Srinivas BV who has been at the forefront of COVID relief efforts.
Actor Swara Bhasker and TEDx speaker Richa Singh extended their support towards Srinivas.
Raise your voice for people who have worked tirelessly & selflessly to help citizens who have been left to die by the govt. they trusted! @srinivasiyc & his team #SOSIYC have done heroic yeomen service in these dark times! More power to you Srinivas ji & @IYC #IStandWithIYC 💙

I never use political hashtags - even if I resonate with the campaign thought just coz, I don’t.
But @srinivasiyc has helped so many people, have witnessed his empathy and effectiveness with my own eyes. And it’s unreal. It’s not political, it’s human.
So #IStandWithIYC ✊🏻— richa singh (@richa_singh) May 14, 2021
Meanwhile journalist Barkha Dutt tracks down how the corpses are being dumped near the river Ganga.
You can hide and fudge data, but you cannot hide bodies as they float on rivers and leave you nowhere to hide . I meet a young cowherd at the edge of the Ganga who tells me about the bodies he sees every day. Tracking India's uncounted COVID deaths for @themojostory pic.twitter.com/XOm8No39vn
