Meghan Markle's Latest Outfit Is Proof That Beige Doesn't Have to Be Boring

In the span of just a couple of days, Meghan Markle reminded us why she's considered one of the best-dressed royals in recent history. Stepping back into public life during a trip to New York City (her first since relocating to America and leaving her full-time role at the firm), the duchess confirmed that her sartorial sense is still very much on-point.

Take, for instance, her latest look, which upended the age-old belief that beige is boring.

Dressed in the shade head-to-toe while arriving at the United Nations building to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres alongside Prince Harry, Meghan paired a long camel coat with wide-leg beige trousers and a matching button-down. Her stilettos expertly coordinated with her jacket, while her accessories — a black face mask and portfolio briefcase — were strictly down to business.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to appear at the Global Citizen Live event in Central Park tonight to advocate for global vaccine equity, they arrived to town several days early — and Meghan didn't waste any time showing off her fall fashion despite the city's unseasonably warm temperatures. At One World Trade Center's Observatory on Thursday, Meghan had another full-on monochromatic moment in a black turtleneck, jacket, and pants, and the next day, she stopped by an elementary school in Harlem, wearing a red pantsuit with a cape-style coat.
