Margot Robbie Reimagines 'Pink and Fabulous Barbie' in Polka-Dotted Valentino

As if we weren't convinced enough to dive headfirst into Barbiecore (and all things Barbie) this summer, Margot Robbie is making a very good argument for the trend as she embarks on the press tour for... well, "Barbie".

On Sunday, the actor — who stars in the titular role of Greta Gerwig's film — attended a photocall with other members of the cast, but was notably the only one to make a splash in pink. Call it "Big Barbie Energy," or perhaps the Valentino effect, or both: Robbie wore a bright pink, white polka-dotted Valentino mini dress inspired by a 2015 "Pink & Fabulous" Barbie, as stylist Andrew Mukamal confirmed on Instagram. The wrap top features a halter neck and an empty cutout at the midriff, before meeting a fitted pencil skirt.

Styled like the doll, pretty much to a T, Robbie carried a yellow Valentino Garavani Rockstud Quilted bag, and accessorized with a chunky beaded bracelet, drop pearl earrings and classic white Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Whether or not the rest of the "Barbie" cast will get the pink memo remains unclear. (All others in attendance, including Ryan Gosling and director Gerwig, opted for a very neutral color palette). But no matter what the next stop on the world tour is, it's safe to say we can look forward to more exquisitely spot-on stylings from Barbie herself.
