Tim Cook spoke for an hour and a half during a wide ranging interview at the technology-focused D11 conference.

Here are the big takeaways from his talk:

* Cook says Apple has several game-changing ideas in the tank.

* Apple has a "grand vision" for how to change television.

* Google Glass is not going to be a mainstream product. Wearable computing can be huge though. Cook is fond of the wrist because it's more natural.

* Jony Ive led a redesign of iOS and OSX, and Cook is very excited about it.

* Apple thinks the U.S. tax code should be gutted.

* Apple has done 9 acquisitions since last October, plans to do more.

* Former EPA leader Lisa Jackson is joining Apple to work on all things environmental.
