Lite Access Technologies and its Partner are Awarded a Municipal Fibre Optic Network Build for the Township of Langley, BC

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / June 10, 2015 / LITE ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES INC. (the "Company") (CSE:LTE) is pleased to announce that DSG Communications Ltd., a certified Lite Access installer, has been awarded a contract for the supply and installation of a 9.65 km fibre optic network for the Township of Langley, British Columbia. Using Lite Access' proprietary microtrench and air blown fibre optic technologies this network will connect the city's civic facilities to its operations centre, operations building and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) station.

The Township of Langley like many other communities throughout much of North America are proactively building infrastructure to help offset the high cost of current service provider connectivity. Due to the high costs associated with traditional fibre builds and high monthly costs for individual connections, cities and communities are actively seeking alternative technologies and deployment options that will enable connectivity in the most cost effective and timely manner possible. Lite Access Technologies has been working with numerous communities and cities to provide a proven solution that has been adopted throughout much of North America. Specializing in microduct and air blown fibre technologies and deployed using specially designed micro-trench technologies, Lite Access has successfully changed the way fibre connectivity is achieved today. Beginning with the Columbia Mountain Open Networks and its numerous communities in south eastern British Columbia, Lite Access' products have also been used for Qnet - in Coquitlam, BC, the District of Delta, BC, North Vancouver, BC and now the Township of Langley, Lite Access and its partner DSG Communications have been awarded the project to provide the most future proof and cost effective fibre connectivity solution available.

Lite Access and DSG Communications are also pleased to announce that the company is working with the City of Kelowna, British Columbia on its first micro-trench and air blown fibre network connection. The City of Kelowna has engaged in building an Open Access Fibre Network to first connect its own facilities to help displace the high cost of current service providers and move to a model that will help attract high tech industry as well as create economic growth for the community.
