Lee Sun Gyun participates in an interview for Deulgukhwa's comeback

Deulgukhwa’s new album will be released tomorrow, and actor Lee Sun Gyun shared his memory of Deulgukhwa.

Lee Sun Gyun’s interview was revealed through Deulgukhwa’s official Facebook on December 5th. During the interview, Lee Sun Gyun said, “Everybody was listening to The Beatles in 1980s, and I was very surprised that such a band was in Korea,” and talked about the how he was captivated when he listened to Deulgukhwa’s music for the first time.

He also said, “Deulgukhwa’s music come up to my mind every winter,” and “I enjoy singing ‘Please’, ‘Another Christmas’, and ‘A Child I Found’.”

Lee Sun Gyun compared Deulgukhwa with The Beatles, and told how he was fascinated by their music.

Lee Sun Gyun also said, “Many songs from 1980s represent the social atmosphere of the period, and I count Deulgukhwa’s music as the best,” and expressed a deep respect for Deulgukhwa.

As Deulgukhwa’s comeback news was announced on November 25th, a great number of celebrities, including Yoo Jae Seok, Yoo Hee Yeol, Shin Dong Yeop, Yang Yo Seop, and Kwak Kyung Taek participated in interviews for their comeback, and many music fans are also showing enthusiastic reactions.

A famous music critique said, “30 years did not take their music away. Their music just got even deeper. Every songs of Deulgukhwa express true nature of life. I’d like to express a profound gratitude for their comeback.”

Meanwhile, Deulgukhwa will be releasing their new album on December 6th at noon.
