At least 4 people dead in Texas shooting

Authorities say at least four people have been killed in a shooting in Texas, The Dallas Morning News reported.

The shooting apparently happened at an apartment building in the town of Bastrop on Saturday.

The suspected gunman is dead, the Austin-American Statesman reported, citing local sheriff's deputies.

Bastrop County sheriff's deputies were called to the Arbors of Bastrop Apartments around 6 p.m. local time,

Police told reporters one child was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the Statesman.
