Lauren Sánchez Dons Fiery-red Lever Couture Gown for Vanity Fair 2024 Oscar Party With Jeff Bezos, Kim Kardashian, Salma Hayek and More

There were several bold fashion statements and style trends at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday in Los Angeles, with each dress and ensemble as unique as the next.

Among the attendees, Lauren Sánchez wore a fiery red gown with sheer fabric to the Academy Awards after party.

Sánchez, who attended the event with fiancé Jeff Bezos, fashioned the dress courtesy of Lever Couture, which featured a full skirt, dramatic sleeves and a cinched waist. The voluminous gown also had a high slit and a cascading train with soft ruffles on the sleeves and skirt. Bezos wore a classic black-and-white tuxedo.

Styled by Kelly Johnson, Sánchez’s Vanity Fair Oscar Party look also included Christian Louboutin heels in a nude hue and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry that included a glittering necklace and a small pair of earrings. While inside the party, Sánchez posed for photos with a few other A-list attendees.

Salma Hayek, who wore a metallic silver Gucci dress, posed for a photo with Sánchez. Another snapshot captured Sánchez alongside Kim Kardashian (wearing Balenciaga), Sofía Vergara (wearing Oscar de la Renta), Kris Jenner (also wearing Oscar de la Renta) and Demi Lovato (wearing Sophie Couture).

Sánchez wasn’t the only attendee to opt for a sheer look. Sheer dresses and fabric elements were a huge trend of the night at both the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Elton John Oscar event. Heidi Klum, Quinta Brunson and Ellie Goulding were among some of the other stars who showed off their affinity for sheer fashion statements.

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party, first held in 1994, is one of the best-known after parties following the Academy Awards. The annual bash, hosted by the magazine’s editor in chief, Radhika Jones, is attended by a plethora of A-listers, including those not present at the annual Oscars ceremony.
