Kindersley, Sask., Walmart evacuated after bomb threat

Sask. Mounties on the hunt for police impersonators

A bomb threat at the Walmart store in Kindersley, Sask., had emergency crews scrambling Wednesday morning.

However, nothing was found and nobody was hurt.

It started at 9:45 a.m. CST when a man called a store employee, demanded a large sum of money and said there was a bomb in the building.

Staff and customers were immediately evacuated from the store, police said.

RCMP and other emergency crews looked for an explosive device but couldn't find anything.

People were let back in the store later in the day. Kindersley is about 200 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon.

The RCMP are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
