Kenyan shilling stable against the dollar

NAIROBI (Reuters) - The Kenyan shilling was barely changed against the dollar on Tuesday and traders said it would be well supported by the prospects of intervention by the central bank to stop it from weakening beyond a certain point. At 0749 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.15/25 to the dollar, compared with Monday's closing rate of 101.20/30. "I do not see it weakening beyond 101.50 since the central bank had intervened at that level in the past," said a trader with a commercial bank. (Reporting by John Ndiso; Editing by Duncan Miriri)
